Album features the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, under the direction of the composer.

Eidelman composed The Tempest in 3 movement, The Storm, The Island and Love and the total time is 18 minutes. The composer explains, “though I composed this work and first recorded it with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in 1997, with so much time gone by and so much more experience and reflection on the piece, I yearned to re-record it again with the same orchestra. Interpreting the piece with a fresh new look, I found myself allowing each section to breathe more deeply and evolve in a more expansive way. In this recent recording session, I loved hearing a few of the musicians identify their own pencil markings in their parts from all those years ago.” The piece is  orchestrated for a large orchestra.
